Who we are

This policy explains how Project Aub handles your personal information when you use this website (projectaub.com).

Project Aub is run by its two founders, Ellis Madden and Sam Kendal, who are the joint data controllers for the information collected here — and the only people with access to it.

What we collect

Just one thing: your email address, and only when you choose to submit it through our Early Access form.

We do not:

• use cookies or any tracking on this website;
• use analytics that identify you;
• collect names, payment details, or any other personal information;
• create accounts or store passwords.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use your email address for one purpose: to send you updates about Aub and about the Early Access programme.

Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is your consent — you give it by submitting your email through the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Who else processes your email

We use MailerLite to store our email list and send our emails. MailerLite is provided by UAB “MailerLite” (based in the European Union). Your email is stored on their systems so we can manage the list and send updates. MailerLite acts as our data processor and only handles your email on our instructions.

We do not sell your email, and we do not share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, or until the Early Access period ends.

International transfers

MailerLite is based in the European Union. The UK and EU have a data-adequacy arrangement, so your email is protected to an equivalent standard when handled there.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask what personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct it;
• ask us to delete it;
• withdraw your consent at any time.

The quickest way to remove yourself is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send — that deletes you from our list. You can also email us at admin@projectaub.com and we’ll handle it.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can reach out to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Age

This website and the Early Access programme are not directed at children. You must be 18 or over to join Early Access.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
